Mission and Vision
According to theologian John Stott, “we must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God.” The Network for Active Engagement works tirelessly to accomplish the following goals:
- We want to develop a road map for influencing and persuading the connected generation (between the ages of 18-40).
- We want to promote evangelism as a lifestyle, not just an activity.
- We want to teach proven evangelistic principles. Principles that engage every individual in your church in the Great Commission.
- We want to encourage the evangelism of minorities in the U.S.A.
- We want to promote sharing from experts
- We want to create opportunities for celebration and forums in which we can gather.
- We want to establish goals and challenge our members to have a greater global impact.
Our Statements of Faith
- The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
- There is one God that eternally exists in three persons – Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is both God and man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and vicariously atoned for sin through His shed blood and death. He was resurrected from the dead, ascended to the right hand of God the Father, and He will personally return in power and glory.
- We need to be regenerated through the Holy Spirit. This is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men.
- Eternal life is granted only through faith. Salvation is earned by trusting in Jesus Christ alone.
- The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of true believers. This is why they can live a Godly life.
- It is the saved and the lost that will undergo resurrection. They are the ones that are saved and those who are damned.
- There is a spiritual unity that lives within true believers.
- The local church is the primary base of operation for evangelistic activity, but God can also use other types of endorsed ministries.
- Every true believer is commissioned by Christ to “preach the Gospel to every creature” and to “make disciples of all nations.”
– Matthew 28:18-20
