It’s the one thing a person CAN’T afford to be without.

The wealthy must have it as well as the poor. The educated must have it as well as the uneducated. Small people need it as do large ones. Adults must have it as well as youth. And, the powerful as well as the weak.

The world tells us it’s nonsense so “keep doing your own thing.” Religion (one can be religious about anything, but that’s not Christianity) points to ritual and traditions with “does and don’ts” which it cannot adhere to itself. Satan helps us with excuses while all the time knowing that procrastination drives us away from the ONE THING needed in our lives.

The Holy Bible tells us that Jesus Christ said this one time (John 14:6), “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” The Saviour made an exclusive claim! He is THE way (not among ways) to God the Father.

The book of Acts records Peter, when speaking before the Council concerning Jesus, stating, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

The message is clear: the ONLY way to God is knowing His son Jesus, who came to seek and save that which was lost. The Apostle Paul nails it down when he writes to young Timothy, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 2:5)

Salvation (being rescued or delivered from sins) is in Jesus. It’s the common denominator which makes everyone fit to spend eternity in heaven.

You don’t attain salvation from any group or because your family is religious. You can’t purchase salvation because of good works or by understanding everything. IT’S A FREE GIFT FOR THE ASKING!

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,” we are instructed in Romans 10:17. Have you called upon the Lord Jesus Christ?
